The prescriber chosen at approval is stored on the order with the directions, and the PDF is built from that record, so later edits here don't alter prescriptions already issued. Everything saves to the store, so all staff see the same list. E-signature: upload a picture of each prescriber's signature (photo or scan of a signature on white paper; it is trimmed and shrunk automatically) and give each prescriber a personal signing PIN (at least 4 characters; only a hash is stored, so it can't be read back — set a new one here to change it). Because everyone shares one Shopify login, the PIN is what puts the signature under the prescriber's sole control: a prescription is signed only when their PIN is entered — at approval, or later with the Sign button on the Prescriptions tab — and the record stores who signed and when. Prescribers must keep their PIN private and never share it; that is what makes this an advanced electronic signature under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012 (reg. 219). An unsigned prescription prints with an "unsigned" marking.
